About me

Welcome to my blog!

My name’s Adam, and I’m a science communicator and linguist. I’m hoping that this blog can provide you with interesting information from one or both of those disciplines. In fact, I have lots of interests at the intersection of science and language too, so there’ll be some of that on here too.

As well as science communication and linguistics, I’ve studied some physics, Japanese, environmental science and anthropology. So don’t be surprised if some unusual topics pop up.

Currently, I work as a Communications Officer at the National Computational Infrastructure in Canberra. I do a lot of writing and social media about the science and expertise that is central to Australia’s biggest research supercomputer.

I hope you enjoy reading about topics that I find interesting, important or both!
